What are „cookie” files?

This website is administered by IMPACTIV sp. p. with its registered office in Warsaw,
Poland (“Impactiv”). Our websites may use “cookie” files for user session
identification when you use our website. These files ensure the proper operation of
the web service www.impactiv.law (the “Service”).

Cookie files are small pieces of information sent by the Service and saved on your
end device (computer, laptop, smartphone, etc.). They usually contain the name
of the Service from which they come, the period of storing them on the end device
and a unique number.

There are two types of cookies used: session cookies and persistent cookies. The
session cookies are temporary files stored on user’s end device until logging out,
leaving the website or closing the web browser. The persistent cookies are stored
on user’s end device for the period determined in the cookie file parameters or
until they are deleted by the user.

Ho we collect data?

Just as most of the services, we store the HTTP queries sent to our server. This
means that we know public IP addresses from which the users view the
information contents of our service. Viewed contents are identified by URL
addresses. This data is not associated with individual people viewing the Service.

How we use the data?

The information collected with cookie files allows us to better manage the Service.
The information contained in them is not disclosed to anyone except for the
individuals authorized to administer the server and the network belonging to
Impactiv. Based on the log files, statics may be generated for the purpose of
helping with managing the Service. The overall summaries in the form of such
statistics do not include any features identifying the individuals visiting the Service.

How to block the cookie files?

The software for viewing websites (web browser) usually allows for storing the
cookie files on user’s end device by default. The Service users may change the
settings in this matter. The web browser also allows for deleting the cookie files. It
is also possible to automatically block the cookie files. The detailed information on
this subject can be found in the “Help” section of the web browser.

In order to block the possibility of receiving our cookies, you should change the
settings of your web browser, so it rejects or deletes specific cookie files.

Note: Blocking the possibility of receiving cookie files may affect the functionality
of some features of our Service.

How we change this policy?

In case of any changes to this policy, appropriate modifications of the above
provisions will be implemented.
