We provided advice to the legal department of a publicly traded company from Western Europe in
the implementation of the stakeholder governance regulations – including the B Corp legal
requirement.
What was the challenge?
The company had limited experiences in stakeholders governance structures. As a B Corp it was
obliged to introduce the B Corp legal requirement to its governance model and documents. Any
modifications could have had an impact on its valuation. Therefore, it required complex legal advice
on the implications of such changes.
How we helped?
We provided strategic and legal advice on the practical implications of proposed changes. Identified
the key areas that should be addressed and helped form a plan for the general legal counsel and the
legal department to proceed with the project.
